These terms cover booking, paying for, and using lessons and the AI practice tools at Kingfisher English. By booking a lesson or using the access code checkout, you agree to them. We've kept this in plain language rather than legal jargon โ get in touch if anything's unclear.

Kingfisher English sells live, online English lessons in two tiers: 1:1 tutoring and exam intensive, each a 45-minute session. Lessons can be booked individually or in packages of 4 or 8 โ packages get 10% off the single-lesson rate. Current prices are listed on the pricing section of the site.
Payment is processed securely via PayPal. Prices are shown and charged in USD.
If you cancel a package, you're entitled to a full refund for any lessons you haven't used yet, prorated against the lessons actually delivered. For example, if you cancel after 2 of an 8-lesson package, you'd be refunded for the remaining 6.
Individual lessons can be rescheduled or cancelled free of charge with at least 48 hours' notice. With less than 48 hours' notice, that lesson is forfeited โ it counts as delivered and isn't refunded or rescheduled.
Each enrolled student gets one access code, for their own use only โ it's non-transferable. Your family is responsible for keeping it safe; we're not responsible for misuse if a code is shared or leaked.
We may suspend or end access to lessons or the AI tools โ including for a specific student โ if they're misused (for example, attempts to misuse Ask Kip or the worksheet generator outside their intended purpose as English-learning tools), or if a family repeatedly doesn't show up for scheduled lessons without notice.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we do, we'll post the update here and change the "last updated" date at the top โ continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the update.
